Space Insulation and Water Repair
These
are some photos of some work performed on a customers
crawl space. The water issue was being caused by the gutter
downspouts right next to the house, allowing water to
pool up in that area. We installed in-ground line leading
to a drain box buried in the yard. The second problem
was that the insulation between the floor joists was falling
down, so we replaced as needed, and secured the rest in
place. We also taped up all the joints on the HVAC duct
system to prevent leaks and increase the total system
efficiency. We also installed a new crawl space door and
tub as well as new foundation vents all the way around.
The final issue was a damaged floor joist that required
us to sister two beams to either side to strengthen it.
